Armenian 101

The date is approaching. I can't believe I will be in Armenia in 3 weeks. Cousin and I are scrambling to learn just basic phrases in Armenian. My mom lent me this children's book from the 60's. We were amused and baffled by these entries, especially. I'll let you know if I run into any multiple faced people there. I'm afraid to learn Big Bomb as well, I'm afraid to just be writing it now. I don't need to end up in Turkish prison this trip.

I've been able to make contact with a couple Peace Corps volunteers living in Gyumri through the Armenian Diasporan grapevine. It makes the unknown a little less unkown knowing that someone will be there to greet you and show you around. That was a great sentence.
